Dahlias and Ferns
We got to do a whole bunch of fun stuff this year, like creating these birch container centerpieces for a Woodend Sanctuary Wedding. We filled the containers with coral dahlias, yellow spray roses, and fern to create a romantic woodsy atmosphere at the reception:

Springing Herbs at Woodend Sanctuary
We love working at Woodend Sanctuary and find ourselves over there quiet a bit. The natural surroundings with easy load-in makes this a fab venue, especially when we're providing flowers. Below is a wedding we did back in April - we focused on crisp greens, fresh whites, and minor pops of yellow. We incorporated seasonal herbs, rather than standard florist greens, to create a more unique look (not to mention the amazing scents!):

The New Wedding Color Trio
Recently I have seen an explosion of the pink, navy blue, and bright yellow color combination in wedding design. I think that this trio is great for spring and summer - bright, fun, and with a touch of sophistication. Below are pictures from our Woodend Sanctuary (in Silver Spring MD) wedding this past weekend. We decided to incorporate the color palette in an organic fashion without pushing the color palette in an obvious way.
